Real Madrid announced Brahim Diaz as their second summer transfer window signing on Saturday (June 10).
The 23-year-old was brought back from AC Milan after his loan spell of three seasons at the Italian Club.
“Real Madrid C. F. announces that on Tuesday, June 13, at 12:00 p.m. in Ciudad Real Madrid, the presentation of Brahim Diaz will take place, who returns as a player of our club until June 30, 2027, after his loan for three seasons at AC Milan,” the club said in an official announcement.
“At this stage, he has become a fundamental player of the historic Italian team. With Brahim, AC Milan has once again been Serie A champion in 2022 and has reached the semifinals of the Champions League this season.
Diaz has been a Madrid player since January 2019 and has already won 1 League and 1 Spanish Super Cup with our club, before being loaned to AC Milan in September 2020.
After the presentation ceremony, Diaz will appear before the media.
Diaz, who Madrid bought for €17m fee from Manchester City in January 2019, was loaned out to Milan in September 2020 where he spent three years playing as an attacking midfielder.
The Spaniard contributed to 14 goals with seven goals and seven assists in the previous season with the Italian Club. He also featured in 45 games throughout the season.
On Friday (June 9), The Whites announced the signing of the left-back Fran Garcia from Rayo Vallecano.
The Spaniard was sold to Rayo for a €2m fee in 2021 with a buy-back clause. Garcia was also named the player of the season 2022/23 of Rayo Vallecano.
The 23-year-old made five goal-scoring contributions in La Liga 2022/23 with two goals and three assists. He scored a goal against FC Barcelona in a 2-1 victory and against Atletico Madrid in a 2-1 loss at home.
Meanwhile, he also provided an assist against Los Blancos as his Rayo beat the visitors 3-2 on November 11, 2022.
